UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance), is a new app launched by the government to provide access to various government services at one place. So, you no longer have to download various apps in order to access various government services.
It is developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD).
When you download the UMANG app, it asks you to link your Aadhaar with the app which is optional right now.
